Corporate Governance Survey
In relation to best corporate practices, the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia (Colombian Banking Authority) conducts a survey on the degree of assumption of the best corporate practices code recommendations.
This survey assesses issues related to the development of the General Assemblies, the functioning and formation of the Board of Directors, disclosure of information and attention to shareholders and investors, among others. The results conclude that BBVA is one of the first four financial entities with more measures applied in Colombia.
